Welcome to Englewood Schools, a small, reputable school district in the heart of the Denver Metro area.  Englewood Schools was formed in 1916.  Ten schools provide instruction and related services to approximately 3,300 students from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade.  The District encompasses approximately 6.9 square mile within the City of Englewood.  The District is governed by a five-member Board of Education whose members are elected by the qualified electors within the City of Englewood.

The mission of Englewood Schools, dedicated to caring, progressive, community-centered schools, is to develop the full potential of all students as contributing members of a rapidly changing world through academically excellent educational programs.  In addition to providing a comprehensive education by some of the most educated and experienced teachers in the state, Englewood boasts a superb K-12 fine arts program, physical education at every level, full-day kindergarten to every student free of charge, an award-winning early childhood education program, before and after school child care, a wide range of after school clubs, and competitive sports free of fees.  All employees of Englewood Schools are committed to providing its students with a safe and well-rounded educational experience.
